I just realized I forgot all about Wednesday in Pictures this week. It's been a pretty busy week for us. I don't have much this week because Pete worked this past Wednesday because we are going to St. George, Ut to visit Pete's family. The only family outside of Fresno that have met Harlow are his dad and stepmom so we figured it was about time. I mean she will be 6 months in 2 weeks. I'll have a whole bunch of pictures next week I'm sure.
Anyway, this is it for now...
I read this quote one morning and it really stuck with me.
"the greatest gift you can give someone is your time. It is our most limited resource and the only thing you'll run out of no matter what" -Rick Warren
I've been having trouble struggling with the feeling of not quit making it. I feel like there is so much I want but don't have the time to accomplish. Mainly I feel like I'm juggling. Instead of enjoying my time with the baby when I'm not at work, I'm stressing about scheduling; taking her to my parents, having enough time to get there and myself to work on time and fitting in all the daily things that need to be done. When I should be enjoying and loving on my baby girl. I'm struggling with not being 100% at anything. I haven't felt like I'm giving my A+ work to anyone. I know this just has a lot to do with my personality but sometimes I feel guilty about letting one or the other slack even just a little. I just need to let go of doing laundry, dishes, cleaning, etc and get back to the things that CAN'T wait. Like enjoying a baby who won't be a baby for long. Those chores aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
My favorite and least favorite time of the day hits about 8:30-8:45 pm. When I get home from work and put Harlow to bed. Really she is already asleep before I even get home. I love getting to snuggle with her, I hate that she is asleep when I finally get the chance to do so.
She sure is sweet when she's sleeping though.
On Sunday we went to Clovis Fest in Old Town Clovis. It was pretty hot but we walked around and saw most of it before we got some kettle corn and headed home. Harlow watched these parrots for awhile, but mostly the people around the parrot :)
Until next week...
