Disney on Ice - Dare to Dream

For Christmas our family gave Papa Rick, Grandma Lori and Jessi tickets to Disney on Ice.  We bought ourselves tickets too and so did Nick, Brianna and Amelia.  We all met up at the Selland Arena and got to sit and watch the show together.  Brianna ended up not being able to come so she gave her ticket to Amelia's cute friend Annalise. All the little girls had a blast.  I can never get enough of seeing Harlow's reaction to something new and fun.  I love seeing how happy she gets. She got to pick out a souvenir before the show and surprisingly she chose Tangled.  She's been on a Cinderella kick lately. But whatever makes her happy. Lennox joined us at the show too but she cried through the entire first half. Poor Pete had to take her out to the entrance way to the arena and watch from there with her.  Finally he came back over at intermission and we took her out of her carrier.  She sat so quietly after that and watch everything around her.  She must have just been mad she wasn't getting to see the show.  It was a pretty late by the time the show was over so we headed home pretty quick.  I can't wait to go again, er, I mean Harlow can't wait to go again!

Big Sister - Little Sister

Since we found out I was pregnant with Lennox we have been calling Harlow, "Sister", to prepare her for baby's arrival.  Since then it has stuck like glue.  Recently Harlow has become a little more interested in her baby sister and it is pretty fun to watch.  She likes when Lennox watches her take a bath, and she like to watch baby take one too. Her new favorite thing to say is, "She likes you!" When she sees baby smile.  It is too cute and I can't get enough of the two of them together.  They have matching shirts that say Best Big Sis and Best Baby Sis.  I try not to dress them alike too much because that's just weird, but every once in awhile it's fun to do. I dressed them in their matching shirts and had to get a couple of pictures.

She is getting so BIG! She finally has enough hair to pull back into pigtails. it only took about 3 years! 

Friday Phone Dump

I'm a day late, my iPhone wouldn't successfully upload this post until this morning. But better late than never!

Lennox likes to sit up and look around now. And see herself in the reverse camera on the iPhone.

Pete and I have been sick with a cold this week.  He actually stayed home from work one day and we laid around ALL day. I didn't want Harlow to lay in our bed and catch our germs so we made her comfy on the floor to watch movies. She even asked me to tuck her in.

You can't see it but they are wearing matching Best Big Sis and Best Baby Sis shirts.

They were holding hands one morning. Or at least Harlow was trying to.

On Wednesday we went to Disney On Ice, Dare to Dream.

Of course Lennox screamed through the first half and then sat happily watching the show.

She was much happier once we took her out and let her sit and watch the show. Look at that crazy slept on hair! yikes!

8 weeks old and getting so big so fast. I wish it would stop...

I was really looking forward to a nap this day but once I put Harlow down for hers, Lennox decided she didn't want to nap.

I have to work HARD to get these smiles out of her.  And she doesn't smile often so its a miracle when I catch it on camera.
