Denver Zoo

It is HOT! here in Colorado now, it went from windy and cold to HOT immediately. We decided to take advantage of the sun and explore the Denver Zoo on Sunday. On Saturday evening my parents flew in from Montana, they were vacationing there and stopped in Colorado for a visit on their way home. Harlow really missed them and was sad to see them go this morning. But while they were here, they had a lot of fun. On Saturday night we had dinner at Joe's Crab Shack and surprisingly Harlow loved crab! Mother like daughter. It's my favorite! Then she got to stay up way past her bedtime to play. On Sunday morning we headed to spend a couple of hours at the zoo. Harlow loved the giraffe. Her face was priceless. After the zoo we headed into downtown Denver to the 16th Street Mall to eat lunch and do some quick shopping.

14 Months Old

14 Months Old:


Do I have a toddler or a baby? Never mind, don't answer that! I have a baby! She'll forever be a baby! But gosh she is getting big! And smart! And fast! I'm torn between being overjoyed about it and really sad. Pete and I looked through all of her newborn pictures the other night and couldn't believe how much she had grown. In a months time she has learned so much.

Summer is Finally Here in Colorado!

FINALLY! The sun has been out all week. No rain, no snow, no hail. Hallelujah! But sadly, there have been like 30 mile an hour winds. And that is really no exaggeration. We went to the park and enjoyed some sun, and opened the blinds to let the light in. And finally got to pull out Harlow's summer clothes.
