We had been anticipating this day for almost a year. My parents planned a Disneyland vacation for all of us. So we spent our year wisely and crammed Harlow with as much Disney knowledge as possible. We watched all the classics, read the books too, and just plain got excited! I must say, the anticipation is so much more fun with kids. The day we were leaving we woke Harlow up and excitedly told her that today was the day, we were going to Disneyland! Her excitement made it all that more fun. We drove down to Anaheim on the 27th and spent a half day at the park with two more scheduled for the following days. By this time I was almost 9 months pregnant. But I wouldn't have missed Harlow first Disneyland trip for the world. My feet and back ached more than they had before but it was well worth it to see her face and share in her excitement and fun.
Waking up the day we left.
Finally out of the car and dressed for her first day at Disneyland. She loves Beauty and the Beast so she was dressed accordingly.
Coming in through the gates.
Her first sighting of the carousel and dumbo ride.
In line for the Dumbo ride.
And of course the carousel.
Lucky for us, my parents treated us to this awesome vacation. Thank you Mom and Dad!
She loved the map.
Trying her hardest to get the sword out of the stone.
Inside Goofy's house.
Tea Party at Minnie Mouse's house.
And we got to meet Mickey!
Watching her first Disney parade.
Her little arm must have been exhausted by the end of the parade. She waved to all the characters the whole time.
Disneyland Day #1 was a success!
