Part 2

Wednesday in Pictures: Part 2

As usual, Harlow went swimming. But this time Andrea came to watch and hang out with mom. Grandpa Rick just happened to be there, and Jessi was home "sick" and Grandma Lori and Uncle Nick were there too.

Trying to catch Dad's bubbles.

Beached whale.

We hung out in the front yard once it cooled down.

um, yes, this picture of Harlow is amazing.

Dad.

Buddha got his stiches removed.

he only has one eye!

I still can't get over it.

so weird...

Her face looks like this because he had just licked her.

Harlow says, "Hi!"

Maria and Adam stopped by tonight for awhile but Harlow missed it, she decided it was bed time instead.

Wednesday in Pictures (posted on Tuesday, ha!)

This post is more like an update of the past weekend/week. Wednesday in Pictures will most likely come in 2 parts this week.

We packed up and took the longest-shortest trip to Utah to visit Pete's family. Most of them havent met Harlow yet so this was a much needed trip. Happy to say that Harlow slept the entire 7 hour car ride there but was awake the first half of the trip home, which always ends up being longer. Silly me forgot to take pictures of all of Pete's aunts and uncles and cousins. Maybe one day I'll be better at that sort of thing.

We went to Swiss Days with Pete's Dad, Brent and Stepmom, Rhonda. Nick, Brianna and Amelia also made the trip to Utah. But they were there for a lot longer than us. Anyway, here are some pictures of the small town parade.

Grammy, Amelia, Pete and Harlow watching the parade.
Harlow hates loud noises. FYI: parades are loud!
Pete tried to block the noise out.
We had a few quick tears.
But then she realized how much other stuff was going on.
Like I said, small town parade, with a tractor :)

They had their music taped to each others backs so they could read and walk.

Breakfast on our last morning at Grammy and Grandpa's.

Someday they will really play together, and I can't wait!
Grammy.
Just a usual picture of Amelia.
We've had some projects going on over at our house.

My talented hubby hung all of Harlows newborn pictures on the wall leading up the stairs.
We refinished this shelf for Harlow's room.
And hung more pictures.

Our guest bedroom has been sick for the past 2 weeks. It threw up...
My next big project is to get all that crap/crafting supplies organized.
Halloween came early, I just couldnt wait any longer.
Especially since I went to Tai Pan while in St. George.
Tai Pan = my favorite home decor store.
FYI: it's bigger than costco :):):)
And lastly...
Buddha only has ONE eye.

Oops, Wednesday snuck by me...

I just realized I forgot all about Wednesday in Pictures this week. It's been a pretty busy week for us. I don't have much this week because Pete worked this past Wednesday because we are going to St. George, Ut to visit Pete's family. The only family outside of Fresno that have met Harlow are his dad and stepmom so we figured it was about time. I mean she will be 6 months in 2 weeks. I'll have a whole bunch of pictures next week I'm sure.

Anyway, this is it for now...

I read this quote one morning and it really stuck with me.

"the greatest gift you can give someone is your time. It is our most limited resource and the only thing you'll run out of no matter what" -Rick Warren

I've been having trouble struggling with the feeling of not quit making it. I feel like there is so much I want but don't have the time to accomplish. Mainly I feel like I'm juggling. Instead of enjoying my time with the baby when I'm not at work, I'm stressing about scheduling; taking her to my parents, having enough time to get there and myself to work on time and fitting in all the daily things that need to be done. When I should be enjoying and loving on my baby girl. I'm struggling with not being 100% at anything. I haven't felt like I'm giving my A+ work to anyone. I know this just has a lot to do with my personality but sometimes I feel guilty about letting one or the other slack even just a little. I just need to let go of doing laundry, dishes, cleaning, etc and get back to the things that CAN'T wait. Like enjoying a baby who won't be a baby for long. Those chores aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

My favorite and least favorite time of the day hits about 8:30-8:45 pm. When I get home from work and put Harlow to bed. Really she is already asleep before I even get home. I love getting to snuggle with her, I hate that she is asleep when I finally get the chance to do so.
She sure is sweet when she's sleeping though.

On Sunday we went to Clovis Fest in Old Town Clovis. It was pretty hot but we walked around and saw most of it before we got some kettle corn and headed home. Harlow watched these parrots for awhile, but mostly the people around the parrot :)

Until next week...

0 to 5 in a blink of an eye

Honestly, I am a little sad to soon be taking her 6 months pictures.
It's going too fast!
I want to freeze this and make it last forever.
