We aren't really camping but sometimes it sure feels like it.

In the summer when we are living away from home while Pete works, I call where we stay "Camping". Because instead of my beautiful home with everything I could possibly want and all its luxuries to go with it, we live instead with the BARE necessities.
No plates or silverware here
No curtains
No AC in Washington apartments (stupid right?)
Only enough hot water for one person to take a decent shower
no night stands or side tables
No tv stand
No spa size tub
Only one pot
Only one pan
and a cookie sheet (like I said, the necessities :) )
I did bring measuring cups and spatulas but forgot the knives (had to buy those) oops.
we use plastic cups, plastic silverware, & paper plates
At least these apartments have a flat screen TV mounted in the living room. But don't let that fool you, these are not luxury apartments. These things are like 30 years old and gross.
Since all of the furniture is rented through the company Pete works for, we have just the basics. Coffee table, dining table and dining chairs, bed, dresser, couch, & chair.
I got creative and have been using the dining room chairs as side tables and tv stand...
camping.
